ACT Policing has launched an urgent public appeal for assistance in locating Allan Harvey, a 47-year-old man who has been missing for more than 24 hours after he was last seen in Canberra’s south.
Mr Harvey was last seen in Garran at approximately 9:00 am on Tuesday, July 7. Authorities say they have significant concerns for his welfare and are asking members of the public to help locate him.
According to police, Allan Harvey is described as Caucasian in appearance, approximately 184 centimetres (6 feet) tall, with a medium build, brown hair, and brown eyes.
At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a fluorescent orange high-visibility jacket, long black pants, and black shoes.
ACT Policing has urged anyone who sees Mr Harvey not to approach him. Instead, members of the public are asked to contact ACT Policing on 131 444 and quote reference number 8436816.
Police say the investigation remains ongoing as officers continue efforts to locate Mr Harvey and ensure his safety. Anyone with information that could assist the investigation is encouraged to come forward immediately.
