Police are investigating a break-in at a gift store in Adelaide’s northern suburbs after offenders forced entry into the business during the early hours of Saturday morning.
Emergency services were called to a shopping centre on Yorktown Road, Craigmore, at approximately 5.30am on Saturday, July 4, after security personnel discovered the store had been broken into.
According to police, the offenders gained access by lifting the store’s roller door before smashing the glass entrance door to enter the premises.
Investigators believe the burglary occurred sometime between 1.45am and 5.30am.
Authorities are still working to determine whether any merchandise or cash was stolen during the incident, with an inventory yet to be completed.
Crime scene investigators are examining the store for forensic evidence, including fingerprints, DNA, and any other clues that may help identify those responsible.
Police are expected to review CCTV footage from the shopping centre and surrounding businesses as part of the investigation.
